| Abstract: | V předkládané diplomové práci jsou zkoumány kulturní aktivity v kontextu veřejných výdajů v jednotlivých krajích České republiky. Pozornost je věnována regionálnímu financování kul-tury, které je propojeno s vitalitou místní kulturní infrastruktury (v oblasti muzeí a galerií, výstavních síní, knihoven, vydavatelské činnosti a zájmové činnosti). První část práce spojuje kulturu s třemi oblastmi lidského života – oblastí socioekonomickou (kultura je zde vnímána dle své pozice v představách obyvatel, v rámci její role v současné ekonomice kulturních a kreativních průmyslů), regionální (kultura jako prvek konkurenceschopnosti regionů), ekonomickou (financování kultury a její role ve vztahu ke státu). Následující analytická část zkoumá vliv změny veřejných financí na zájem o kulturní aktivity v daném kraji, hledány jsou souvislosti s hospodářskou rozvinutostí kraje. Poslední část práce se věnuje jednotlivým krajům a jejich grantovým programům, které podporují kulturní aktivity obyvatel regionu. Zkoumány jsou kritéria hodnocení grantových žádostí v rámci mezikrajského srovnání. |

| Abstract: | This master thesis examines cultural activities in context of Czech regions’ public expendi-tures. The thesis is focused on regional funding of culture, which is linked with vitality of local cultural infrastructure (museums and galleries, exhibition halls, libraries, publishing activities, leisure cultural activities). The first part of the thesis combines culture with three aspects of human life – socio-economic (how people perceive culture and its position in cur-rent economy of the cultural and creative industries), regional (culture as an element of re-gional competitiveness), economic (culture funding and its relation to the state). The follow-ing analytical part examines an impact of public expenditure change on interest in cultural activities within certain county. The last part of this thesis is dedicated to each of Czech re-gions and their grant programs, which are supporting the cultural activities in the county. The criteria of evaluating grant applications are studied within inter-region comparison. |
