Abstract: | The goal of this thesis is to draw the importance of omni-channel approach and to identify the differences in each generation’s shopping journey. Furthermore, the aim is to locate particular touchpoints for each generation. The thesis has a deductive approach. The theoretical part discusses academic articles and managerial reports on customer experience, along with evolution of the customer journey and shifts in consumer behavior. The practical part used a mixed method of research, including quantitative and qualitative studies to better understand the omni-channel phenomenon and the shift in consumer behavior. Descriptive analysis was used for quantitative research analysis while thematic analysis was deployed for qualitative research. The research concludes the importance of omni-channel strategy in Central Europe and indicates the significance of generational segmentation. Hence, specific touchpoints were identified within customer journey targeting each generation. |

Abstract: | Cílem této diplomové práce je vyzdvihnout význam omni-channel marketingového přístupu a identifikovat rozdíly v nákupních postupech různých generací. Zároveň se snaží nalézt konkrétní styčné body pro každou generaci. Téma je zpracováno deduktivní metodou. Teoretická část pojednává o akademických článcích a manažerských reportech o zkušenostech zákazníků, doplněných o vývoj postupování a chování spotřebitelů. V praktické části byla použita kombinovaná výzkumná metoda, včetně kvantitativních a kvalitativních studií za účelem lepšího pochopení omni-channel fenoménu a posunu v jednání spotřebitelů. Pro kvantitativní analýzu průzkumu byla použita deskriptivní analýza, zatímco pro kvalitativní část byla zvolena analýza tematická. Průzkum zhodnocuje význam omni-channel strategie ve střední Evropě a poukazuje na význam segmentace generací. V důsledku toho byly identifikovány dílčí styčné body v rámci zákaznických postupů zaměřené na různé generace. |
