| Abstract: | Diplomová práce pojednává o ratingovém hodnocení České republiky v porovnání s Rakouskem. První část práce je věnována obecné charakteristice ratingového procesu a jeho významu, včetně suverénního ratingu. Závěrečná část první kapitoly je zaměřena na reálný popis procesu stanovení suverénního ratingu země dle metodologie Moody's. V následující části práce je blíže zkoumán veřejný dluh a bankovní systém, což jsou dva z mnoha faktorů, které mají vliv na přidělení výsledné ratingové známky. Tyto faktory jsou nejprve analyzovány odděleně pro obě země. Zjištěné poznatky jsou následně porovnávány v závěrečné části práce společně s dalšími klíčovými faktory a názorem agentur Moody's a S&P na ratingové hodnocení České republiky a Rakouska. |

| Abstract: | The diploma thesis deals with the rating of the Czech Republic compared to Austria. The first part is devoted to the general characteristics of the rating process and its significance, including the sovereign rating. The final part of the first chapter focuses on a realistic description of the country's sovereign rating process according to Moody's methodology. The next part examines the public debt and the banking system, which are two of the many factors that affect the final rating evaluation. These factors are first analysed separately for both countries. The findings are then compared in the final part of the thesis together with other key factors and the opinion of Moody's and S&P on the sovereign ratings of the Czech Republic and Austria. |
