| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá vývojem zdanění motorových vozidel v České republice. První kapitola je věnována teorii zdanění dopravy, definování externalit v dopravě a vývoji evropské legislativy. Druhá kapitola je zaměřena na popis současného stavu zdanění motorových vozidel v České republice. Vymezeny jsou tři kategorie zdanění vozidel. V další části je popsán vývoj zdanění motorových vozidel v ČR od roku 1993 do roku 2017. Poslední kapitola obsahuje komparaci zdanění motorových vozidel v České republice, v Rakousku a na Slovensku. |

| Abstract: | This master thesis looks into the taxation of motor vehicles in the Czech Republic. The first chapter is dedicated to the transport taxation theory, definition of externalities in transport and to the development of European legislation. The second chapter focuses on current state of taxation of motor vehicles in the Czech Republic. There are three categories of vehicle taxation determined. The next part describes the development of Czech vehicle taxation from 1993 to 2017. The last chapter contains comparison of vehicle taxation in Czech Republic, Austria and Slovakia. |
