| Abstract: | Tato práce se zabývá analýzou vlivu institucionálních faktorů na hospodářský vývoj rozvojových států, konkrétně kontinentu Jižní Ameriky. Cílem práce je prokázat pozitivní vztah mezi institucionální vyspělostí a hospodářským vývojem. V práci se popisují obecné teoretické předpoklady interakcí mezi institucionálním prostředím a ekonomickým růstem a rozvojem, vymezují se a kvantifikují se jednotlivé institucionální a ekonomické proměnné relevantní pro daný region a odhaluje se vztah mezi nimi, zároveň se provádí srovnání zemí regionu dle výše uvedených kvalit. Pro analýzu je vybráno 10 států regionu, analyzované údaje jsou za období 2000–2016. Vztah mezi institucemi a ekonomickými proměnnými je zkoumán pomocí radarových grafů a panelové regrese. |

| Abstract: | This thesis is explaining the role of institutional factors on economic development of the developing countries, specifically South America. The aim of this thesis is to verify the positive connection between the quality of institutions and the level of economic development. This thesis describes theoretical conditions of interactions between the institutional environment and economic growth and development, specifies and quantifies the economic and institutional factors relevant for this region, and discovers the relation between them. In the same moment the economic and institutional comparison of the countries of the region is conducted. This thesis analyzes 10 countries of the region of South America, the data include the period 2000- 2016. The connection between the institutional and economic factors is empirically verified with help of radar charts and panel regression. |
