| Abstract: | Tato práce se zabývá závislostí mezi zahraničním obchodem a ekonomickým růstem. Cílem práce je zkoumat kauzální vztahy mezi dovozem, vývozem a ekonomickým růstem v podobě reálného HDP. Modely jsou vytvářeny regresní analýzou se zaměřením na krátkodobé vztahy. V teoretické části jsou postupně rozebrány teoretická východiska zahraničního obchodu, ekonomického růstu a následně vzájemné provázanosti. Nakonec jsou zachyceny dosavadní poznatky předchozích prací. V empirické části jsou nejprve vytvářeny modely mezi dovozem a reálným HDP a poté vývozem a reálným HDP. Výsledky naznačují spíše oboustranný vztah mezi dovozem a HDP, u vývozu je dominantní vysvětlující proměnná zahraniční poptávka v podobě německého HDP. Proto se zde přikláním k platnosti export-led growth modelu. |

| Abstract: | The bachelor thesis focuses on the dependence between foreign trade and economic growth. The aim of the thesis is to examine causal relations between import, export and economic growth in the form of real GDP. Models are created by regression analysis focusing on short-term relationships. In the theoretical part, we introduce theory of foreign trade, economic growth and interdependence of these. Finally, the findings of previous works are captured. In the empirical part, models are first created between import and real GDP and then export and real GDP. The results suggest a rather bilateral relationship between imports and GDP. For exports, the dominant explanatory variable is foreign demand in the form of German GDP. Therefore, I tend to the validity of export-led growth model. |
