| Abstract: | V práci se autor zabývá srovnáním největších českých pojišťoven pomocí finanční analýzy. V teoretické části jsou představeny metody finanční analýzy, včetně jejích specifik pro oblast pojišťovnictví. Dále jsou popsány vybrané ukazatele, které mohou být použity pro oblast pojišťovnictví. Praktická část obsahuje srovnání čtyř největších českých pojišťoven podle těchto ukazatelů za roky 2012-2016. V práci autor poukazuje na některé trendy (např. snižování ziskovosti pojišťoven), případně na to, že se určité ukazatele naopak dlouhodobě pohybují na podobné úrovni. |

| Abstract: | This thesis deals with the comparison of the largest Czech insurance companies using financial analysis. In the theoretical part are described the methods of financial analysis including its specifics when analyzing the insurance sector. Next, there are described and defined the indicators that can be effectively used for this analysis. In the practical there are four biggest insurance companies compared, using these indicators, for the years 2012-2016. There are several trends discussed in this part (declining rentability), but also there is described how certain indicators did not change much over time. |
