| Abstract: | Veřejné zakázky jsou jednou z mnoha oblastí, kam se investují vysoké sumy ze státního rozpočtu. V roce 2016 dosahovaly celkové výdaje na veřejné zakázky 12,8 % HDP, což je necelých 486 mld. Kč téhož roku. Cílem práce bylo zjistit a popsat faktory působící na stranu nabídky i poptávky a jejich celkový dopad na celkový počet nabízejících v soutěžích o veřejné zakázky. Z období od 1.3.2011 do 31.11.2017 bylo vybráno 15590 kompletních záznamů o veřejných zakázkách, které byly zkoumány ekonometrickou regresní analýzou v programu Gretl. Oba zkoumané modely byly statisticky významné i s většinou testovaných proměnných. Na základě získaných výsledků lze doporučit budoucí vývoj veřejných zakázek pro zvýšení počtu nabízejících a další možné výzkumy podobné této práci. |

| Abstract: | Public procurement is one of the many areas where high sums are invested from the state budget. In 2016 total public procurement expenditures reached 12.8% of GDP, which was approximately 486 billion CZK in the same year. The aim of the thesis was to identify and describe the factors on the side of supply and demand and their overall impact on the total number of bidders in public procurement competitions. In the period from 1.3.2011 to 31.11.2017, 15590 complete records of public contracts were selected and tested by econometric regression analysis by program Gretl. Both models were statistically significant as well as most of the tested variables. Based on the results obtained, it is advisable to recommend the future development of public procurement to increase the number of bidders and other possible research similar to this work. |
