| Abstract: | Práce je zaměřena na problematiku kurzových rozdílů a jejich vznik při zajišťování akceptace platebních karet licencovanou bankovní institucí. Práce je rozdělena na dvě hlavní části – na část teoretickou a část praktickou. V teoretické části bude čtenář seznámen s historií platebních karet a popisem současného platebního systému karet pro pochopení dané problematiky. Následuje část zabývající se právním rámcem kurzových rozdílů v účetnictví z pohledu účtování podnikatelů, ale i finančních institucí, kterým se tato práce věnuje a obsahuje náležitosti výkazu zisku a ztráty dle standardů IFRS, podle kterých musí bankovní instituce výsledek hospodaření vykazovat. Praktická část na modelovém příkladu zobrazuje danou problematiku transakcí v cizích měnách a jejich vykazování v účetních výkazech. Závěr shrnuje dosažené výsledky a odhaduje budoucí vývoj a směr akceptace platebních karet. |

| Abstract: | The thesis focuses on the issue of exchange rate differences and their creation in ensuring the acceptance of payment cards by licensed banking institutions. The thesis is divided into two main parts - theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, the reader will be familiar with the history of payment cards and a description of the current payment system for understanding the given issue. The following section deals with the legal framework of exchange rate differences in accounting from the point of view of accounting of entrepreneurs, but also of the financial institutions that devote this work and includes the requirements for the preparation of a profit and loss statement under IFRS, according to which the Bank must report the economic result. The practical part of the model example shows the given issue of foreign currency transactions and their presentation in the financial statements. The conclusion summarizes the results achieved and estimates the future development and direction of accepting payment cards. |
