| Abstract: | Diplomová práce je zaměřena na makroekonomické nerovnováhy vybraných států eurozóny. Hlavním cílem práce je pomocí analýzy makroekonomických nerovnováh zhodnotit, zda dluhová krize zmírnila nebo naopak zvýšila rozsah makroekonomických nerovnováh v eurozóně. Věnovat se budu pěti vybraným členským státům eurozóny. Práce je rozdělena do tří částí. První část pojednává o počátcích, průběhu a vývoji hodnot makroekonomických nerovnováh v eurozóně jako celku, s důrazem na státy PIIGS během období dluhové krize. Druhá část popisuje makroekonomické nerovnováhy konkrétních států eurozóny z různých evropských regionů a porovnává hodnoty makroekonomických ukazatelů před, během krize a v současném období. Třetí kapitola se zabývá opatřeními, jež zavedla Evropská unie na podporu zlepšení zadlužení nejvíce krizí zasažených států. Zároveň zhodnotí prognózy vývoje ekonomického stavu vybraných členských států eurozóny. |

| Abstract: | The diploma thesis is focused on the macroeconomic imbalances of certain euro area countries. The aim of this thesis is to analyze these imbalances and evaluate, if these mentioned imbalances deteriorated or improved due to the debt crisis in the euro area. I analyze five particular member states of the euro area. This thesis is divided into three parts. The first part deals with the beginnings and progress of the macroeconomic imbalances of the euro area as a whole and PIIGS countries during the debt crisis. The second part describes the macroeconomic imbalances of five particular countries of the euro area from different European regions and compare figures of macroeconomic indicators before, during the crisis and current situation. The third part is devoted to measures established by the EU or the particular member states. It also evaluates a future economic development of five particular member states based on economic forecasts. |
