| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje fenoménu internet věcí a příkladům jeho využití v praxi. Cílem práce je přiblížit dané téma čtenáři a ukázat, jak mohou technologie internetu věcí přispět ke zvýšení uživatelského komfortu a ke snížení ekonomických nákladů. Odpověď na tuto otázku hledá práce prostřednictvím rozboru jednoho konkrétního řešení v oblasti softwarové vizualizace IoT zařízení v chytrých domácnostech a dvou příkladů instalace zařízení využívající technologie internetu věcí s cílem snížit náklady. Práce došla k závěru, že vhodné využití internetu věcí skutečně vede nejen ke zvýšení uživatelského komfortu, ale i k ekonomickým úsporám na straně spotřebitele a novým obchodním příležitostem pro poskytovatele. Přínos této práce vidím v otevření diskuze na téma internet věcí a o benefitech, které jeho využití může nabídnout. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis is dedicated to the phenomenom of Internet of Things and examples of its applications in practice. The goal of this thesis is to bring the subject to the reader and to demonstrate how the Internet of Things technology can contribute to increasing user comfort and reducing economic costs. To answer this question this thesis focuses on analyzing one specific solution in the field of software visualization of IoT devices in home automation and on two cases of installation of devices utilizing IoT technology in order to reduce costs. The thesis concludes that the proper utilization of the Internet of Things technology can indeed lead not only to improving the user experience, but also to economic savings and that it can also provide new business opportunities to companies which offer products and services in this field. I see the contribution of my thesis in opening a discussion on the subject of the Internet of Things and about the benefits it can offer. |
