| Abstract: | Práce se zabývá teoriemi sebevnímání, jejich charakterizováním a vztahem ke kulturním rozdílům. Dále práce řeší vztah rozdílů v sebevnímání a využívání informačních technologií. Cílem práce je zjistit, zda existuje závislost mezi příslušností k určité kulturní skupině a vztahu k sebevnímání a zda tyto postoje ovlivňují využívání informačních technologií jednak z pohledu vlastnictví zařízení a dále z pohledu konkrétních aktivit, které jsou na zařízeních prováděny. Podkladem pro ověření stanovených otázek jsou sekundární data poslední vlny celosvětové studie Mindreader z roku 2017. |

| Abstract: | The thesis is focused on self-concept theories, their definition and their relationship to cultural differences. Beside that, the thesis is focused on a relationship between different self-concepts and a usage of information technologies. The main goal of the thesis is to find out if there is an existing dependency between a specific culture membership and a self-concept perception with regards to information technology usage (both device ownership and online activities). Research was performed and querries were answered based on Mindreader questionnaire data from 2017. |
