Abstract: | The thesis analyses Health 4.0 system and its implementation in the global healthcare industry as of today. The aim of the thesis was to analyse Health 4.0 system and to determine internal and external factors necessary for the realization and full-fledged formation of not only a theoretical, but also a practical basis of the research. The findings of the thesis prove that Health 4.0 is an up-to-date approach in the industry of healthcare, which merges information technologies, online networking and virtualization for maximizing the effectiveness of healthcare services and the wider operation of medical institutions and healthcare professionals. Thanks to the use of advanced information and communication technologies, Health 4.0 is a patient-centric and decentralized system, which promotes maximum patient engagement in the provision of healthcare services and effective communication between medical professionals and patients. The effectiveness of the transition from previous standards to Health 4.0 will precondition to a large extent the operation of the global healthcare industry in the future. |
