| Abstract: | Obsah diplomové práce se v první části věnuje teoretickému rámci, který zahrnuje popis jednotlivých typů měnových kurzů, seznámení s tradičními vyrovnávacími mechanismy vnější nerovnováhy a přiblížení základní měnové a fiskální politiky podle typu měnového kurzu. Pro praktickou část je zvoleno období sledování vývoje Saudské Arábii započaté strmým pádem cen ropy v roce 2014. Úkolem je prokázat fungování některého z tradičních vyrovnávacích mechanismů vnější nerovnováhy a současně definovat další procesy ovlivňující současnou nebo budoucí podobu platební bilance. V alternativních přístupech k řešení podoby a stability platební bilance jsou nejvíce zastoupeny investiční aktivity investičního fondu Public Investment Fund a státní společnosti Saudi Armaco. Řešení problémů spojených s podobou platební bilance je také porovnáno k Norsku a fungování norského fondu Government Pension Fund |

| Abstract: | The content of the thesis is devoted to the theoretical framework in the first part which includes description of types of exchange rates, getting familiar with the traditional equalization of external imbalance and focus on basic monetary and fiscal policy according to the type of exchange rate. For the practical part the period of development in Saudi Arabia has been chosen from the moment when a steep decline in oil prices in 2014 began. The task is to show the functioning of some type of the traditional equalization of external imbalance and to define other processes that affect the current or the future form of the balance of payments. In alternative approaches to the form and the stability of the balance of payments there are the most significant the investment activities of the Public Investment Fund and state-owned company Saudi Armaco. The solution of the problems related to the form of the balance of payments is also compared with Norway and the functioning of the Government Pension Fund. |
