| Abstract: | Cílem této diplomové práce je popsat vývoj českého filmového průmyslu mezi lety 1918–1944 a jeho proměny v důsledku historických událostí. Práce se zaměřuje na významné společnosti v rámci domácí kinematografie a zabývá se otázkou, jaké postavení v rámci české kinematografie zaujímala společnost Lucernafilm. V první části práce je popsán vývoj filmového průmyslu od jeho počátků až do začátku německé okupace a působení společnosti Elektafilm. V hlavní části je kladen důraz na období protektorátu a dopady nacistické okupace na domácí kinematografii. Dále se práce zaměřuje na společnost Lucernafilm, A-B (Barrandovské filmové ateliéry) a jejich postavení v rámci filmového trhu. Na závěr jsou zhodnoceny aktuální televizní, filmové a divadelní projekty, ve kterých se téma české kinematografie konce 30. a začátku 40. let objevuje. |

| Abstract: | The focus of this thesis is the development of the Czech film industry in the period from 1918 to 1944 and the impact the various historical events had on it. This thesis further focuses on major local film production companies and examines the role of the Lucernafilm Company in the Czech cinematography. The first part of the thesis is dedicated to the development of the Czech film industry from its roots to the German occupation and to the Elektafilm Company. The main part of the theses then focuses on the Protectorate period and the impact of the German occupation on the Czech cinematography. The thesis also discusses the Lucernafilm Company and A-B (Barrandov Studios) and their position on the market. At the end of the thesis, the contemporary films and theatre projects which feature the theme of Czech cinematography of the late 1930‘s and the early 1940‘s are evaluated. |
