| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá zachováním památkového fondu a využitím jeho potenciálu pro ekonomické oživení krajů v ČR. Teoretická část je věnována obecné charakteristice památkové péče a jejímu ukotvení v právním systému ČR, a to s ohledem na přípravu nového památkového zákona, na jehož přijetí je vázáno zefektivnění stávající ochrany kulturního dědictví. Praktická část analyzuje finanční podporu památek alokovanou do jednotlivých krajů z dotačních programů Ministerstva kultury ČR a prostřednictvím metody benchmarkingu hodnotí efektivitu krajů v oblasti ekonomické výkonnosti, cestovního ruchu a jejich vybavenosti památkovým fondem. Na základě provedené analýzy lze konstatovat, že podpora památkové péče má pro rozvoj krajů v ČR své opodstatnění, přesto je vzhledem k rozsahu památkového fondu na jejich území realizována v nedostatečné míře. Za účelem zatraktivnění krajů pro návštěvníky památkových objektů by se ČR mohla inspirovat státy, jako je Itálie, Španělsko, Francie či Velká Británie, které se v rámci své památkové péče dlouhodobě zaměřují na posílení ekonomiky periferních regionů. |

| Abstract: | This diploma thesis deals with the preservation of the monument fund and the utilization of its potential for the economic revival of the regions in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part describes the general characteristics of monument preservation and anchoring of monument preservation in the legal system of the Czech Republic, with a view to the preparation of a new monument law, whose adoption is bound to streamline the existing protection of the cultural heritage. The practical part analyzes the financial support of the monuments allocated to individual regions from subsidy programs of the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic and evaluates the efficiency of the regions in the area of economic performance, tourism and the monument fund by using the benchmarking method. Based on the analysis, we can state that the support of monument preservation has its justification for the development of the regions in the Czech Republic. However, it is insufficiently implemented due to the extent of the monument fund on the territory of the regions. In order to make regions more attractive for visitors to historical monuments, the Czech Republic could inspire by countries such as Italy, Spain, France and the United Kingdom, whose monument preservation is focused on strengthening the periphery regions' economy. |
