| Abstract: | V důsledku nepříznivého demografického vývoje a nepřicházející reformy k dlouhodobému řešení současné situace penzijního systému, stále více narůstají obavy o starobní důchody. Jako možné řešení, jak zabezpečit jejich dostatečnou výši, se nabízí posílení soukromého spoření ve III. pilíři. Teoretická část práce tak přináší čtenáři rešerši literatury zabývající se tématy sociální politiky a penzijních systémů. V praktické části práce je analýzou penzijního systému České republiky dokázáno, že soukromé spoření v rámci III. pilíře je nezbytné k zachování životní úrovně ve stáří. Na základě výsledků dotazníkové šetření je zjištěno, že značná část společnosti je se současným penzijním systémem velmi nespokojená a důležitost soukromého spoření si uvědomuje. I přesto není doplňkové penzijní spoření využíváno v dostatečné míře, kdy hlavním důvodem není nedostatečná motivace ze strany státu v podobě nízkého státního příspěvku, ale nedostatečná výše finančních prostředků obyvatel, které by na doplňkové penzijní spoření mohli ukládat. |

| Abstract: | Concers about pensions are on the rise as a consequence of an unfavorable demographic development and no reforms targetting the current pension system situation. Possible solution of avoiding the pension to drop is to enhance the private savings in a third pillar. The theoretical part of the thesis researches the literature focusing on the subjects of social politics and pension systems. The practical part of the thesis contains of an analysis of the Czech Republic’s pension system, proving the necessity of the private savings in the third pillar to maintain the standars of living during the old age. A conclusion that the vast majority of the public is very unhappy with the current pension system and understands the importance of private savings is made based on the results of the survey. Nevertheless the supplementary pension savings are not being used enough not because of the insufficient motivation from the government perspective in a form of low contributionn, but mainly because of the insufficient funds of the public which could have been used for the supplementary pension savings. |
