| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se věnuje hospodaření Vězeňské služby České republiky ve vybraných letech. Práce je složena ze tří částí. První teoretická část se zabývá uspořádáním a charakteristickými rysy veřejného sektoru. Ve druhé části jsou obsažené obecné informace ohledně hlavních činností a úloh vězeňství v České republice, význam této služby ve společnosti a postavení ve struktuře veřejného sektoru státu a veřejných financí, její historie, organizace a současný stav. Z důvodu zachování přiměřeného objemu práce základní přehled o zahraničních vězeňských službách je umístěn v příloze této práce. Třetí kapitola se zabývá analýzou hospodaření Vězeňské služby ČR ve vybraných letech, kde je kladen důraz na výdajovou stranu její rozpočtu. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis deals with economic activities of the Prison Service in the Czech Republic in selected years. The thesis is divided into three chapters. The first one is theoretical, and it deals with the layout and features of the public sector. The second chapter contains general information on the main activities and tasks of the prison system in the Czech Republic. The significance of such service in society and its position in the structure of the public sector of the state and public finances is included. This chapter describes history, the organization and the current situation of the prison service in the Czech Republic. In order to keep an appropriate volume of thesis, a basic overview of the foreign prison services is given in the appendix to this thesis. The last part deals with analysis of economic activities of the Prison Service in the Czech Republic in the given years, where emphasis is placed on the expenditure of the budget. |
