Abstract: | Abstract:Due to the rapid progress in the computer science and IT, number of digital buyers are high ever before accounting 1.7billion worldwide (Statista, 2018) and 10% of retail sales are ecommerce purchase (Statista, 2018). This online purchase trend is estimated strong and persistent increasing trend in the future said Aaron Orendorff (2017). Thus, online marketing is one of the main business activities in any business regardless size, industry, and strategy. Because of the globalization trend, products and services as well as consumers become homogeneous. However, according to Steven Bleistein (2018), Japanese market is peculiar and unique market in online marketing. This statement does not apply not only Japan, but other group of countries as known as Hofstede’s cultural dimensions (Cassandra Gill, 2017). Therefore, main objective of this thesis is to quantify the uniqueness of the Japanese market specifically in online marketing. Moreover, antivirus software companies will be the scope of this research. This thesis investigates the Japanese market specifications in two categories: websites, and online word of mouth. Moreover, Avast entry strategy on Japanese market will be the scope of the case study. This case study will be utilized to derive the real-life success and failures of localization in online marketing. In the case study, the necessity of the localization in the global brand will be analyzed through actual data. Abstract: | Abstrakt: Rychlý rozvoj moderních informačních technologií umožnil prudký nárůst digitálních forem obchodování na mezinárodních trzích. |
