| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá tím, jak za pomoci Garrettova přístupu a designu zaměřeného na uživatele vytvořit webovou stránku Fakulty informatiky a statistiky (FIS) uživatelsky přívětivější. Jako cílová skupina byli vybráni uchazeči o bakalářské studium, neboť jejich počty dlouhodobě klesají a jejich zájem o studium na fakultě je klíčový. Cílem diplomové práce bylo pomocí uživatelského výzkumu zjistit, jaké informace uchazeči o bakalářské studium vyhledávají na webových stránkách FIS, na základě tohoto zjištění navrhnout informační architekturu sekce „zájemci o studiu“ a otestovat, zda odpovídá potřebám cílové skupiny. Při vypracování diplomové práce byly použity následující metody: analýza obsahu webových stránek, polostrukturované rozhovory s uchazeči o studium, syntéza informací, card sorting, uživatelské testování a pozorování. Výsledkem je prototyp webových stránek FIS otestovaný studenty gymnázia. Dílčí výstupy se skládají z identifikace témat vyhledávaných uchazeči o studium, nové informační architektury, flow diagramů a doporučení ohledně struktury a obsahu webových stránek. |

| Abstract: | This master thesis deals with the user friendliness of the web page of the Faculty of Informatics and Statistics using Garrett's approach and user-centered design. Applicants for bachelor study were selected as a target group since their number is decreasing every year and their preference to study at the faculty is crucial.The aim of the master thesis is to find out what information do applicants for bachelor study look for on the website of faculty, based on this finding design the information architecture of the section "study programmes" and test if it matches needs of the target group.Following methods were used during the elaboration of the master thesis: analysis of web pages, semi-structured interviews with applicants, synthesis of information, card sorting, user testing and observation.The outcome is the prototype of the website of Faculty of Informatics and Statistic tested by grammar school students. Partial outcomes consist of the identification of important information for applicants for bachelor study, new information architecture, flowcharts and recommendations for the structure and content of web pages. |
