| Abstract: | Tato práce vznikla v souvislosti s dlouho očekávanou a diskutovanou změnou v metodice konstrukce úmrtnostních tabulek Českého statistického úřadu s počátkem roku 2018. Hlavním záměrem této práce bylo posouzení rozdílů objevujících se v ukazateli naděje dožití v důsledku změn v metodice úmrtnostních tabulek. Přestože dochází k metodickým změnám, ukazatel naděje dožití se významně nezměnil. Naděje dožití při narození se v důsledku změn výpočtu úmrtnosti v prvním roce života snížila a ve věcích 45, 65 a 85 let se ukazatel zvýšil v důsledku změn v použitých metodách využívaných pro vyrovnání hodnot věkově specifických měr úmrtnosti vstupujících do výpočtu úmrtnostních tabulek. Ve věku od 85 let se na základě nižších hodnot středních čtvercových chyb ukázala nová metodika jako lépe odpovídající empirickým datům. Základní hodnocení vývoje ukazatelů úmrtnosti v čase ukázalo na zvýšení naděje dožití a snížení kojenecké úmrtnosti ve sledovaném období. |

| Abstract: | This thesis has been created in reaction to long-expected and discussed change in the methodology of construction of Life Tables by the Czech Statistical Office since the beginning of year 2018. The main aim of this thesis was to assess emerging differences in life expectancy due to changes in the methodology of life tables. Although, there are changes in the methodology, there are no significant changes in life expectancy. The indicator of life expectancy at birth decreased as result of the change in the formula of infant mortality rate and at the age of 45, 65 and 85 years, the indicator of life expectancy increased as result of the change in used methods for smoothing of age specific death rates entering into computing life tables. From the ages over 85 years, on the basis of lower values of mean square errors, the new methodology has better fitting to the empirical data. A basic evaluation of the mortality indicators in the monitored period showed an increase of life expectancy and decrease of infant mortality rate. |
