| Abstract: | První část této diplomové práce je věnována základním pojmům a principům v oblasti simulací a simulačních programů, a dále také popisu manipulační techniky včetně přehledu moderních trendů v této oblasti. Praktická část si pak dává za cíl pomocí simulačního programu SIMIO aplikovat postupy popsané v teoretické části na příkladu chodu skladu a pomocí simulačních experimentů ověřit navrženou změnu procesu v tomto skladu. Výsledky těchto experimentů v závěrečné části interpretovány a jejich základě navržena případná vhodná změna procesu pro zajištění bezproblémového chodu skladu. |

| Abstract: | The first part of this diploma thesis is focused on basic terminology and concepts of simulation models and simulation software. Following chapter contains basic description of handling technology commonly used in warehouses with examples of modern trends in this field of industry. The main goal of the practical part is to apply methods mentioned in the theoretical part using SIMIO software on the example of warehouse, and validate proposed change of the process in the warehouse with the use of simulation experiments. Results obtained from these experiments are then interpreted and, if necessary, a change of the process is proposed. |
