| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na preferenční režimy poskytované Evropskou unií a USA a jejich čerpání nejchudšími ekonomikami subsaharské Afriky. První část práce teoreticky popisuje význam mezinárodního obchodu a preferenčních režimů pro (nejen) rozvojové země a zároveň poskytuje teoretický základ pro podrobnější zkoumání preferenčních režimu (jejich formální aspekty a konkrétní schémata poskytovaná EU a USA). Druhá část obsahuje případové studie pěti nejméně rozvinutých ekonomik SSA s důrazem na analýzu úspěšnosti využití preferenčních režimů poskytovaných EU a USA v letech 2000 až 2017 a na odvětvovou strukturu exportu z těchto zemí do EU a USA. |

| Abstract: | This diploma thesis focuses on the preferential regimes provided by the European Union and the US and their utilization by the poorest economies of Sub-Saharan Africa. The first part of the thesis describes the importance of international trade and preferential regimes for (not only) developing countries and provides a theoretical basis for more detailed examination of preferential regimes (their formal aspects and specific schemes provided by the EU and USA). The second part contains case studies of the five least developed SSA economies, focusing on the analysis of utilization of EU and US preferential regimes from 2000 to 2017 and the export structure of these countries to the EU and the US. |
