| Abstract: | Diplomová práce "Otázka bezpečnosti Jižní Koreje s důrazem na problematiku jaderných zbraní" se zabývá bezpečností Korejské republiky, přičemž její hlavní zaměření směřuje k otázce jaderných zbraní. Práce reflektuje koncepty bezpečnosti, historický vývoj kontroly jaderného zbrojení a vysvětluje koncepty spojené s jadernou tématikou. Práce je zaměřena na region severovýchodní Asie, přičemž zvláštní důraz je kladen na Korejský poloostrov a zejména Jižní Koreu. Z důvodu propojenosti jednotlivých dimenzí bezpečnosti se práce věnuje také aktérům ovlivňujícím bezpečnost Korejské republiky, zejména roli Spojených států a Číny. |

| Abstract: | The thesis "South Korea's security with an emphasis on nuclear weapons" deals with security of the Republic of Korea with a focus on nuclear weapons issue. The thesis reflects different concepts of security, historical development of arms control and explains concepts regarding field of nuclear weapons. It focuses on the region of Northeastern Asia, with particular emphasis on the Korean Peninsula and especially South Korea. Due to the interconnectedness of different security dimensions, the thesis also deals with actors of international relations influencing the security of the Republic of Korea, in particular the United States of America and China. |
