| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce hodnotí současné postavení Rakouska na trhu mezinárodního cestovního ruchu a zároveň se snaží odhadnout potenciál a budoucí vývoj země jakožto turistické destinace. Současně s tím se je zde zhodnocená výkonnost rakouské ekonomiky a její vliv na cestovní ruch dané země. Tohoto dílčího cíle je dosaženo za pomoci analýzy jednotlivých makroekonomických ukazatelů, jejichž vývoj má velký dopad na rozvoj turismu v dané destinaci. Mimoto je v práci posouzen cestovní ruch v Rakousku z hlediska jeho udržitelnosti, na kterou je zde kladen velký důraz. V závěru práce je prostor věnován SWOT analýze, kde jsou podrobně vyhodnoceny jednotlivé slabé a silné stránky, ale také příležitosti a hrozby, které musí Rakousko v rámci rozvoje cestovního ruchu brát v úvahu. |

| Abstract: | This master's thesis evaluates the current position of Austria on the international tourism market as well as estimates its potential and future development as a tourism destination. It also analyses a productivity of Austian economy and its influence on the tourism industry in the country. This partial goal is achieved by the analysis of particular macroeconomic indicators that have a big impact on the tourism development of the concrete destination. Apart from that, this thesis evaluates the tourism industry in Austria based on its sustainibility since it is a concept upon which is put a big emphasis in here. In the end of the thesis, a SWOT analysis was made. Its goal is to assess the strengths and weaknesses and estimate possible opportunities and threats that have to be taken into account when it comes to tourism development. |
