Entry of Basque companies into the Czech market

The diploma thesis Entry of Basque companies into the Czech market analyses the activites of subjects from the Basque Country in the Czech Republic. The thesis sets the theoretical bases for the topic of International Business including the modes of entry into foreign market. The paper analyses the current macroeconomic development of both economies and examines the parallels between the Basque and Czech economy. The thesis is focused on the flow of investments and arrival of Basque companies to the Czech Republic. The final part of the paper describes activites of the Basque Trade&Investment, the Agency supporting Basque companies on the Czech and Slovak markets.

Diplomová práce Vstup baskických firem na český trh se věnuje aktivitám subjektů z baskického regionu v České republice. Práce obsahuje teoretický základ problematiky mezinárodního podnikání týkající se forem vstupu na zahraniční trh. Text práce analyzuje současný makroekonomický vývoj daných ekonomik a zkoumá paralely mezi strukturami hospodářství Baskicka a České republiky. Práce se dále soustředí na příliv investic a s tím spojený příchod baskických společností do České republiky. Závěr práce je věnovaný činnosti Baskické agentury pro internacionalizaci, která podporuje působení firem z baskického regionu na českém a slovenském trhu.
