| Abstract: | Práce pomocí metodou analýzy dostupných zdrojů zkoumá dopady rozmachu těžby břidlicového plynu a břidlicové ropy v USA na světový trh s ropou a zemním plynem. Jelikož fosilní paliva stále zůstávají nejstrategičtějšími zdroji na světě, jakékoliv významnější změny na trhu mění vývoj světové ekonomiky a znatelně ovlivňují globální geopolitickou situaci. Práce konkrétně uvádí vznik nalezišt, specifický způsob její těžby a kontroverze s ní spojená. Charakterizuje specifika trhů zemního plynu a ropy, na kterých demonstruje konkrétní vlivy břidlicové revoluce. Popisuje dosavadní vývoj na trhu mezi lety 2014-2018, změnu vztahů mezi jeho klíčovými hráči a nastiňuje dopady na světové dění. |

Since fossil fuels are still the most strategic sources in the world, any major changes in the market are changing the course of the world economy and have a significant impact on the global geopolitical situation. The thesis particularly describes the origin of shale sources, the specific method of mining and its controversies. It describes specific aspects of oil and gas market and demonstrates the effects of shale revolution. It analyses the market evolution between 2014-2018, the relationship between its key players and its effect on world geopolitical situation. |
