| Abstract: | Cílem této práce je popsat čtenáři průběh tvorby reportů, či dashboardů v Self-Service Business Intelligence nástroji Power BI od společnosti Microsoft. V první části je popsána základní potřebná teorie z oblasti Business Intelligence, s detailnějším zaměřením na pojem reporting. Budou představeny nejpoužívanější reportingové nástroje, proces tvorby výstupu včetně základních pravidel pro návrh designu. Zbytek teoretické části se věnuje výše uvedenému programu Power BI a práci s ním. Nejdříve program blíže představí a vyzdvihne jeho výhody a nevýhody. V praktické části bude obecně popsán proces tvorby reportu v tomto nástroji, skládající se z přípravy a nahrání dat, úpravy dat, použití jazyka DAX, tvorby reportu, zveřejnění a tvorby dashboardu. Ve zbytku práce je celý výše zmíněný proces názorně demonstrován a detailně popsán na reálných datech české softwarové společnosti Avast, s využitím nejčastěji používaných funkcionalit, za účelem vytvoření dashboardu, pro vyhodnocení emailových kampaní. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this bachelor thesis is to describe the process of creating reports or dash-boards in Self-Service Business Intelligence by Power BI from Microsoft. The first part describes the basic theory needed, starting from BI with to a more detailed focus on the concept of reporting. The most used reporting tools will be introduced, the process of output creation including basic design rules. The rest of the theoretical part focuses on the above-mentioned Power BI program and how to work with it. First introduces the program, including its advantages and disad-vantages. The report creation process in this tool, consisting of data preparation and uploading, data editing (this part also includes DAX basic functions), reporting, pub-lishing, and dashboard creation will be described.In the last part of the work, the entire process is illustrated and described in detail on real data from Czech software company Avast, using the most commonly used functionalities to create a dashboard for evaluating email campaigns. |
