| Abstract: | Předmětem práce je trh vzácných knih a bibliofilních tisků v České republice, jejímž cílem je zmapovat vývoj knižních aukcí po roce 1990 a analyzovat současnou situaci a trendy. Autor si klade otázku, jaký dopad má rozvoj internetových aukcí na trh vzácných knih a bibliofilních tisků. Teoretická část definuje pojmy a popisuje historický vývoj na území ČR. Praktická část analyzuje data aukčních výsledky za období 2016 a 2017, mapuje současné druhy knižních aukcí a aktivní subjekty na tomto trhu. Dále práce kontrastuje současné období s daty z devadesátých let dvacátého století. Autor vyvozuje závěry o relativní velikosti trhu, jeho vývoji a dopadu internetu. Závěry práce jsou podpořeny rozhovory dvou významných pořadatelů knižních aukcí. |

| Abstract: | The subject of this paper is the market for rare books and bibliophilic prints in the Czech Republic whose goal is to map the development of book auctions after the year 1990 and analyse the current situation and trends. The author poses the question: What effect did the development of internet auctions have on the market of rare books and bibliophilic prints. The theoretical part defines terms and describes the historical development on the territory of the Czech Republic. The practical part analyses auction result data from the years 2016 and 2017 and maps the current types of book auctions and the active subjects on this market. Furthermore, the author contrasts the present with data from the years 1990-2000. The author draws conclusions about the relative size of the market, its development and the impact of the internet. The conclusions of the thesis are supported by interviews with two significant book auctioneers. |
