Práce čerpá ze sociální teorie Pierra Bourdieuho, konkrétně konceptu habitu, pole, kapitálu, vkusu a symbolického násilí a z konceptů governmentality a technologií Michela Foucaulta. |

Abstract: | The aim of the diploma thesis is to scrutinize specific students´ subjectivities constructed by the program of Arts management at the Faculty of Business Administration, the University of Economics in Prague. Based on the ethnographic method of participant observation fieldwork I have examined actions and practices of students, professors and other social actors engaged in the world of Arts management. In order to provide a comprehensive view, including the way in which knowledge and facts are produced within the system, I draw on Pierre Bourdieu's social theories of habitus, fields, capital, taste and symbolic violence and Michel Foucault’s concepts of governmentality and technologies. |
