| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou a komparací zdravotních systémů České republiky a Velké Británie v letech 2007 až 2017. Cílem práce je analyzovat, který model zdravotního systému je úspornější z ekonomického hlediska a který poskytuje kvalitnější zdravotní péči. Teoretická část vysvětluje základní pojmy ze zdravotnictví, determinanty zdraví, formy financování a zejména zdravotní systémy. V praktické části práce jsou postupně analyzovány zdravotní systémy vybraných států a následně komparovány z hlediska výdajové náročnosti a kvality poskytované péče. Zdravotní systém Velké Británie je vyhodnocen jako ekonomicky efektivnější, zatímco zdravotní systém České republiky poskytuje kvalitnější zdravotní péči. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis and comparison of the health systems of the Czech Republic and Great Britain in the period of time 2007-2017. The aim of the thesis is to analyse which model of the health system is more economically efficient and which system provides better quality of health care. The theoretical part explains the basic concepts of health care, determinants of health, forms of financing and health care systems in particular. In the practical part, the health systems of selected countries are analysed and then they are compared with regard to the expenditure intensity and the quality of the provided health care. The health system of the Great Britain is found to be more economically efficient but the health system of the Czech Republic provides better health care. |
