| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce provádí analýzu vývoje makroekonomické rovnováhy v Estonsku mezi lety 2002 až 2016 v kontextu se změnami v měnové a fiskální politice. Během tohoto období došlo k výrazným cyklickým výkyvům. Jeden z nich byl spojen s tzv. Velkou recesí a vyvolal nutnost odpovídající reakce. Z důvodů politických i ekonomických byla zvolena fiskální konsolidace, která dopadla úspěšně. Nejdříve je připraven základ v teorii hospodářského cyklu, hospodářské politiky a v makroekonomické analýze a také nabídnut stručný výčet historických souvislostí. Ve třech dílčích částech zkoumaného období je poté provedena analýza. Ta poskytuje výstup pro úspěšnou odpověď na výzkumnou otázku. Vliv politických rozhodnutí měl podle výsledků analýzy spíše negativní vliv na estonské hospodářství. |

| Abstract: | This master thesis conducts an analysis of macroeconomic equilibrium in Estonia between year 2002 and 2016 in context with changes in monetary and fiscal policy. During this period there happened to be significant fluctuations of business cycle. One of these was connected with the so called Great recession which induced the need of an appropriate reaction. Because of political and economic reasons, a fiscal consolidation was chosen and it was successful. At first the thesis prepares a basis in business cycle theory, economic policy and in macroeconomic analysis and also offers a brief historical context. In three partial sections of the research period the analysis itself is then carried out. It provides outcome for successful answer to research question. Results of the analysis show that influence of political decisions was rather negative than positive for the estonian economy. |
