| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá financováním obrany v České republice v letech 2002-2017 a zda Česká republika v sestavování státních rozpočtů pro kapitolu Ministerstva obrany České republiky zohledňuje stav ekonomiky, respektive tempo jejího růstu a adekvátně tedy přizpůsobuje výši výdajů na obranu, která by s ohledem na podmínky vyplývající ze členství v Severoatlantické alianci měla činit přibližně dvě procenta hrubého domácího produktu. Praktická část poté potvrzuje autorovu hypotézu, že rozpočty nejsou sestavovány s cílem podmínku Severoatlantické aliance plnit. Dílčím cílem práce byla komparace České republiky s vybranými zeměmi Visegradské skupiny. Z komparace České republiky, Slovenska a Maďarska vyplývá, že Česká republika je z vybraných tří ekonomik stran plnění podmínek NATO vůbec nejslabší. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor's thesis looks at defense spending Czech Republic between the years 2002-2017 and whether the Czech Republic in creating state budget for the chapter of Ministry of Defense of Czech Republic takes into the account the state of ekonomy, respectively the rate of it‘s growth, and adeqately modifies the amount spent on defense, which, according to the NATO membership requirements, should be approximately two percent of gross domestic product. Practical part then affirms the authors hypothesis that the budgets aren‘t made with the goal of meeting the NATO‘s condition. Another aim of the thesis was a comparison of Czech Republic and the states of the Visegrad Group. Comparison of Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary points to Czech Republic being the weakest when it comes to fulfilling the requirements of NATO. |
