| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá tématem minimálních příjmových veličin, o kterých se nejčastěji diskutuje před volbami, kdy jednotlivé politické strany lákají své voliče, mimo jiné i na zvyšování minimální mzdy. Cílem mé práce bylo zjistit, jak je v České republice minimální mzda nastavena vhledem k průměrné mzdě a jaký je následný dopad na míru nezaměstnanosti. V teoretické části jsem definoval právní ukotvení minimálních příjmových veličin, mezi které patří kromě minimální mzdy ještě hranice příjmu, na základě které se stanoví dávky pro chudé domácnosti. Následně jsem diskutoval již provedené studie zabývající se vlivem minimální mzdy na nezaměstnanost. V praktické části jsem porovnal jednotlivé poměry v zemích České republiky, Slovenska a Německa. V neposlední řadě byly sestaveny ekonometrické modely pro statistickou verifikaci minimální mzdy na míru nezaměstnanosti. Všechna tato zkoumání byla provedena v období 1993 – 2018. Práce potvrdila efektivní nastavení minimální mzdy v České republice a Německu a na základě ekonometrického modelu se potvrdil možný vliv minimální mzdy na míru nezaměstnanosti. |

| Abstract: | This thesis deals with the topic of minimum income variables, which are most often discussed before the elections, when besides other actions individual political parties attract their voters to increaseasing the minimum wage. The aim of the work was to find out how the minimum wage in the Czech Republic is set in relation to the average wage and what is the subsequent impact on the unemployment rate. In the theoretical part, I defined the legislation of minimum income variables, which include both the minimum wage and the subsitence limit, on the basis of which the benefits for poor households are determined. Subsequently, I discussed already conducted studies researching the effect of minimum wage on unemployment rate. In the practical part I compared the individual ratios in the countries of the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Germany. Last but not least, I built an econometric model which should have statistically verified the effect. All these investigations were carried out in the period 1993 - 2018. The work confirmed the effective setting of the minimum wage in the Czech Republic and Germany and the statistical modelling confirmed the possible impact of the minimum wage on the unemployment rate. |
