Vietnam Pension System and Comparison with the System in the Czech RepublThis work deals with analysis of the Vietnamese and Czech pension system. Primarily focusing on development in the years 2008-2018 and problem areas of systems and solutions. Both countries show the current trend - the growth of the proportion of older people, so it is necessary to adjust their systems so that they can provide decent pensions to their citizens. The result of the work is the finding that in Vietnam, their system is still financially stable with a sufficient margin but low participation rates. While in the Czech Republic the system is financially burdened (in deficit) with a high level of participation and dependence on state pensions. The main benefit of this work is to present the Vietnamese pension system in general based on available information and then to compare it with the system in the Czech Republic in the years 2008-2018
