| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na funkci bankovního útvaru treasury. Tohoto cíle jedosaženo pomocí analýzy procesů, které tento útvar zajišťuje. Důraz je kladen především napraktické fungování. Popsané procesy vychází z fungování konkrétní české banky. V prvníčásti je představena historie, základní funkce a umístění v rámci organizační struktury banky.Následuje analýza struktury treasury spolu s popisem funkcí jednotlivých oblastí. Posledníkapitola se zabývá produkty poskytovanými treasury. Tato část je zaměřena na produkty prozajištění kurzových a úrokových rizik. Práce obsahuje ukázky a příklady z praxe. |

| Abstract: | This master’s thesis deals with the function of treasury department in the bank sector. Thethesis is practically oriented with the focus on the assessment of the individual processes.The analysis is performed through the operation of the specific bank from the Czechenvironment. The first part introduces the history, basic functions and classification withinthe organizational structure. The individual segments are further described in more detailand the treasury itself is structured and analysed. In the final chapter, the products providedby the treasury department are assessed, especially the securing of exchange and interestrates risks are evaluated. The examples from real practice are incorporated throughout thethesis to illustrate functioning of the bank. |
