| Abstract: | Cílem diplomové práce je na základě analýzy současné dopravní situace a jejího vývoje v hlavních městech Praha a Vídeň zhodnotit, které z těchto měst disponuje vhodnějšími předpoklady pro utváření udržitelné mobility v nejbližší budoucnosti. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. První část vymezuje za pomoci obsahové analýzy důležité pojmy v oblasti mobility a dopravy doplněné o současné trendy. Druhá část je zaměřena na český a rakouský metropolitní region a dopravní situaci v jejich hlavních městech, která je provedena na základě nejnovějších veřejně dostupných zdrojů a autorově vytvořených případových studiích. Získané poznatky a modal split v závěru práce vedou k zhodnocení současné dopravní situace a budoucího vývoje udržitelné mobility v obou hlavních městech. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this diploma thesis is to analyze the current traffic situation and its development in Prague and Vienna and evaluate which city has better prerequisites for sustainable mobility in the near future. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part defines, with the help of content analysis, important concepts in the field of mobility and transport, supplemented by current trends. The second part focuses on the Czech and Austrian metropolitan regions and the transport situation in their capital cities, which is based on the latest publicly available sources and the case studies made by the author. The acquired knowledge and modal split at the end of the work lead to an assessment of the current traffic situation and the future development of sustainable mobility in both capitals. |
