Abstract: | Předložená disertační práce zkoumá dopady modelů pro výpočet rizikových parametrů PD, EAD, LGD na hodnotu regulatorního kapitálu v segmentu retail klientely. |

Abstract: | Dissertation thesis scrutinize the impact of risk parameters (PD, EAD, LGD) models on the value of regulatory capital in the segment of retail clients. The result of regulatory capital value is determined using stress test simulations on the values of the individual risk parameters. Stress scenarios are carried out in accordance with the recommendations of the regulatory authorities. Simulation of impacts of changes in macroeconomic variables on risk parameter values was performed using the VEC model. The suitability of VEC model was verified by comparing the VEC model with alternative stress test models. An empirical comparison of the regulatory capital was made on the retail clients portfolio in the Czech Republic. As of 30th June 2018 was the difference in the value of the regulatory capital in the identical portfolio equal to 20.02%. Dissertation thesis demonstrate, that the choice of the model for risk parameters calculation can significantly affect the value of the capital required by the regulator. |
