| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou obrany Evropské unie. Jedná se o aktuální téma, jež ovlivňuje světové dění a v posledních letech zažívá bezprecedentní rozvoj. Jsou představeny jednotlivé aspekty obrany EU (závazek, finance, nákup, velení, výcvik) s přesahem k obranné unii. Práce se snaží ukázat, do jaké míry se EU obranné unii přibližuje. Jsou vylíčeny různé iniciativy a projekty s tím spojené a nastíněno fungování EU na poli bezpečnosti. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor’s thesis addresses the problem of the defence of the European Union. It is acurrent topic which influences the world events and has had an unprecedented development inthe recent years. Individual aspects of the EU defence (law, finance, acquisition, leadership,training) are presented regarding the defence union. This thesis aims to show how much is theEU closing to the defence union. Different initiatives and projects have been introduced andthe basic functioning of the EU on the defence field has been outlined. |
