| Abstract: | Práce analyzuje akt uznání Jeruzaléma za hlavní město Izraele americkým prezidentem Donaldem Trumpem, který tak učinil v prosinci 2017. Hlavním cílem je zjistit, zda tento čin měl zásadní vliv na izraelsko-palestinský konflikt, a pokud ano, jaký. V rámci tohoto tématu se práce soustředí na problematiku uznávacích aktů z pohledu mezinárodního práva, roli USA v blízkovýchodním sporu a možný vliv rozhodnutí Donalda Trumpa na postoj ostatních států vůči Jeruzalému. |

| Abstract: | The thesis analyses the act of the recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel by the American president Donald Trump who did so in December 2017. The aim of the thesis is to find out if this action has had fundamental impact on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and if so, then in what way. Within the framework of this matter, the thesis is focused on the issue of recognition acts from the point of view of international law, the role of the USA in the Middle East conflict, and the potential influence of Donald Trump's decision on other states' attitude to Jerusalem. |
