| Abstract: | Diplomová práce poskytuje podrobnou analýzu výchozích podmínek České republiky pro plnění 17 cílů stanovených Agendou 2030 udržitelného rozvoje v porovnání s Evropskou unií. Teoretická část práce se věnuje vymezení základních pojmů týkajících se problematiky udržitelného rozvoje včetně historického vývoje obsahujícího nejdůležitější mezinárodní dokumenty a úmluvy, které Agendě 2030 předcházely. Primární důraz je zde kladen na představení samotné Agendy 2030 a jejích jednotlivých cílů. Praktická část je zaměřena na analýzu plnění jednotlivých cílů, která je provedena na základě vyhodnocení různorodých indikátorů v porovnání se státy Evropské unie. Výsledkem komplexního zhodnocení plnění jednotlivých cílů je SWOT analýza, jenž slouží jako simplifikovaný přehled oblastí, kterým by Česká republika měla věnovat zvýšenou pozornost. |

| Abstract: | The diploma thesis provides a detailed analysis of the baseline conditions of the Czech Republic for the fulfillment of the 17 goals set out in the Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development in comparison with the European Union. The theoretical part deals with the definition of basic concepts related to the subject of sustainable development, including historical development describing the crucial international documents and conventions that preceded the Agenda 2030. The primary emphasis here is put on the presentation of the Agenda 2030 itself as well as its individual objectives. The practical part analyses the fulfillment of the defined goals, which is carried out through an evaluation of various indicators in comparison with the European Union. The result of a comprehensive assessment is presented in a form of a SWOT analysis, which serves as a simplified overview of areas that the Czech Republic should pay close attention to. |
