Specific attributes of art based investment

Bakalárska práca skúma a analyzuje špecifiká spojené s investíciou do umeleckých diel. Je opísaný vývoj investícii do umeleckých diel a fungovanie trh s umeleckými dielami. Ďalej sú charakterizované vlastnosti investícií, ako riziko, výnos, či likvidita a ich správanie sa v súvislosti s umením. Sú predstavené dve dominantné trhy s umením vo svete a porovnané medzi sebou z rôznych hľadísk. Na záver je detailne analyzovaná praktická štúdia dvoch špecifických čŕt, ktoré sa v súvislosti s umeleckými dielami objavujú, sú to death effect a investovanie prostredníctvom fondov, resp. podieloch na dielach.

The Bachelor thesis explores and analyzes specific attributes of art based investments. First the thesis describes the evolution of the art based investments and also the operating of the art market. Then we will obtain informations about attributes of an investment, for example risk, profit and liquidity. Afterwards the thesis intruóduces two dominant art markets of the world and compares them to each other from more points of view. Eventually we can observe a real time study of two unique art based features, which are analyzed to the very detail, concretely death effect and investments through art funds and art shares.
