| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá vlivem kulturních aspektů v rámci separatisticko nacionálního terorismu. Tématika je zkoumána na případu organizace ETA v Baskicku. Cílem práce je zjistit, zda a jak kulturní odlišnosti baskické kultury formovaly vzniklý politický konflikt mezi Španělskem a organizací ETA a jeho eskalaci v podobě terorismu. K naplnění cíle práce vychází z teorie konfliktů a z metodiky kulturních dimenzí Geerta Hofstedeho. V praktické části jsou zkoumány aspekty baskické mytologie pro určení kulturních dimenzí, které jsou dále aplikovány na daný politický konflikt a je zkoumáno, jaké kulturní vlivy se zde projevují. |

| Abstract: | The bachelor thesis is focused on the influence of cultural aspects within separatist national terrorism. The topic is studied on a case of an organization ETA in Pays Basque. The aim of this paper is to discover whether and how the cultural distinctions of the Basque culture formed the political conflict between Spain and the organization ETA and its escalation into terrorism. Towards the fulfilment of the aim, the paper proceeds from the Geert Hofstede’s methodology of cultural dimensions. In the practical part the aspects of Basque mythology are studied to determinate specific cultural dimensions. These are afterwards applied on the particular political conflict and it is explored which cultural influences manifest there. |
