| Abstract: | Hlavním cílem této diplomové práce je popis procesu přechodu z on-premise do cloud Business Intelligence (BI) řešení ve společnosti SAP. Pro kompletní porozumění veškerých vazeb v procesu a využitých technologií je nejprve nutné načerpat teoretické znalosti v oblasti BI, a to jak u cloudu, tak i u on-premise.Teoretická část popisuje produkty společnosti SAP v oblasti BI, které jsou představené na trhu a využívají se interně. V práci jsou popsané jako produkty s využitím technologie on-premise, tak i cloudu.Praktická část této diplomové práce se věnuje popisu procesu přechodu z on-premise BI aplikace do cloudu ve společnosti SAP na příkladu vybraného řešení. Praktická část také zahrnuje popis použitých metodik a doporučení pro implementaci procesu přechodu. Všechny hlavní i vedlejší cíle stanovené na začátku této práce byly dosaženy. Hlavní přínos práce spočívá ve spojení poznatků technologií a architektur produktů SAP BI a praktických zkušenosti v procesu přechodu ve společnosti SAP, které je možné aplikovat jako rámec nebo vodítko pro využití v jiných společnostech. |

| Abstract: | The main goal of this master thesis is to describe the process of transition from the on-premise to the cloud Business Intelligence (BI) solution at SAP. For the complete understanding of the process and technologies, it is first necessary to gain the understanding of BI in both technologies both cloud and on-premise.The theoretical section describes SAP BI products developed in on-premise and cloud technologies which are both sold externally on the market and used internally at SAP.The practical section of this master thesis outlines the process of transition from on-premise to BI cloud application at SAP, using a selected solution as an example. The practical section also describes the application of this process methodology and includes recommendations for the implementation of the transition process.All the major and secondary objectives set at the beginning of this study have been achieved. The main value of this master thesis is to combine the knowledge of SAP BI technologies and architectures and practical experience in the transition process that can be applied as a framework or guiding the implementation in other companies. |
