| Abstract: | Bezpečnost v kyberprostoru je momentálně velice diskutovaným tématem, stejně jako hrozba terorismu. S neustálým technickým a informačním vývojem roste i nebezpečí zneužití těchto jinak přínosných aspektů současné doby. Cílem této bakalářské práce je prostřednictvím definice pojmu kyberterorismus a stanovení výzkumné metodologie spočívající v rozboru jeho charakteristických faktorů analyzovat vybrané útoky na informační a komunikační sítě, k nimž došlo v prvních dvou dekádách 21. století, a následně zhodnotit, do jaké míry je kyberprostor ohrožen činností terorismu. Dalším cílem práce je zodpovědět dle výstupů analýzy, zda kyberterorismus představuje novou nastupující formu terorismu a potažmo i mezinárodní bezpečnostní hrozbu. V souvislosti s ohrožením mezinárodní bezpečnosti se práce zabývá ochrannými a bezpečnostními mechanismy na národní i mezinárodní úrovni. |

| Abstract: | Security in cyberspace is a highly debated issue right now, as is the threat of terrorism. With ongoing technical and information developments, there is also a growing risk of misuse of these otherwise beneficial aspects of the present era. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyze selected attacks on information and communication networks that occurred in the first two decades of the 21st century by definition of the concept of the cyberterrorism and the established research methodology based on the analysis of its characteristic factors. A further aim of this thesis is to answer the question of whether the cyberterrorism represents a new emerging form of terrorism and, therefore, an international security threat. In connection with the threat to international security, the thesis deals with protective and security mechanisms at national and international level. |
