| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá ideou společné evropské armády a způsobem, jakým se proměňovala v čase. První dvě kapitoly tvoří historický úvod, který zkoumá vývoj ideji v minulosti. Případová studie, ve třetí kapitole, se zaměřuje na současné francouzské postoje ke společné evropské armádě a identifikuje zcela nový koncept tohoto institutu, který odpovídá současným hrozbám. Práce si klade za cíl analyzovat v každé kapitole společensko-historický kontext doby, ve kterém idea vznikala, dále příčiny a bariéry veškerých iniciativ. Na základě analýz bylo zjištěno, že tradiční pohled na ideu společné evropské armády, obsažený v historickém úvodu, nelze aplikovat do doby globalizovaného světa. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis deals with the concept of a European army and the way it has changed over time. The first two chapters form a historical introduction that examines the evolution of the concept in the past. The case study in the third chapter focuses on the current French attitudes towards a European army and identifies a completely new concept for this institute that matches current threats. The aim of the thesis is to analyze in every chapter the socio-historical context of the time in which the idea originated, as well as the causes and barriers of all the initiatives. Based on the analysis, it has been found that the traditional view of the concept of a European army contained in the historical introduction cannot be applied to the globalized world. |
