| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se věnuje tématu právnických aspektů společenské odpovědnosti firem (CSR) v rámci Evropské unie. Objasňuje pojem a podstatu společenské odpovědnosti firem a zkoumá mezinárodní standardy v této oblasti. V podstatné části se práce soustřeďuje na politiku Evropské unie ve vztahu k regulaci CSR, zkoumá obsah Směrnice Evropského parlamentu a Rady 2014/95/EU, hodnotí její efektivitu a odhaluje slabé strany. Hlavním cílem práce je ale zjistit problematické a nejvíce debatované aspekty CSR z hlediska odstoupení od zásady dobrovolnosti a následně navrhnout způsoby nápravy a potenciální nástroje regulace jednotlivých oblastí. |

| Abstract: | The bachelor's thesis is dedicated to the topic of legal aspects of corporate social responsibility (CSR) at EU level. It explains the term and substance of CSR concept and describes international standards in the field. A substantial part of the thesis is focused on the EU policy towards CSR regulation, including EU Directive 2014/95/EU on non-financial reporting, assesses its efficiency and reveals its weak sides. The aim of the thesis is, however, to elucidate the problematic and the most debatable in terms of introducing binding norms aspects of CSR and consequently propose ways of their improvement as well as potentially efficient instruments of regulation of particular areas. |
