| Abstract: | Tato práce řeší změnu obchodní strategie USA vůči Evropské unii. Cílem práce jeodpovědět na otázku, zda měla změna obchodní strategie USA při změně prezidenta v roce2016 vliv na vzájemný obchod USA s EU. V první části jsem se zaměřila na charakteristikuobchodní politiky obou prezidentů a definovala konkrétní oblasti, ve kterých se liší. Věnovalajsem pozornost přístupu k obchodní bilanci a velikosti vzájemného obchodu. Ve druhé částijsem se zabývala vyjednáváním dohody TTIP (Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership)a uvalením cel. Ve třetí části jsem hledala odvětví a oblasti, které byly ovlivněny změnouobchodní strategie jak na úrovni jednotlivých podniků, tak na úrovni celé ekonomiky Evropskéunie a USA. |

| Abstract: | This thesis talks about the change of the US trade strategies towards the EuropeanUnion. The aim of this thesis is to answer a question if the change of the US presidentin the White House in 2016 have had an impact on trade with the European Union. In the firstchapter I focused on characteristics of trade policies of both presidents and defined areasin which they differ. I paid attention to the approach to trade balance and size of the two- waytrade. In the second chapter I looked into negotiations of the TTIP (Transatlantic Tradeand Investment Partnership) and tariffs. In the third chapter I was looking for fields which havebeen affected by the change of the trade strategy not only in the private sector but alsoin the whole economy of the US and EU. |
