| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá komparací severských zemí z ekonomické perspektivy, z hlediska kvality života a s ní souvisejícími indexy. Práce je systematicky rozdělena do tří kapitol. První kapitola vymezuje pojmy „kvalita života“ a „ekonomická prosperita“, zatímco druhá kapitola charakterizuje země patřící do skupiny Severské rady; tedy Finsko, Švédsko, Dánsko, Norsko a Island. Dále jsou v ní uvedeny komparace dle ekonomických, sociálních a demografických ukazatelů a uvedena jsou i alternativní srovnání. Třetí kapitola se věnuje sedmi indexům, které srovnávají země dle kvality života, jejich metodologiím a výsledkům severských zemí. V závěru je uveden nově navržený index – Modern Prosperity Index, který zdůrazňuje inovaci a klíčové faktory prosperity. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis deals with the comparison of the Nordic countries with reference to quality of life and economic prosperity. In addition, it deals with the quality-of-life indices. The thesis is systematically divided into three chapters. The first chapter defines the terms "quality of life" and "economic prosperity", the second chapter characterizes the countries belonging to the Nordic Council; Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Iceland. Furthermore, this chapter includes economic, social, demographic and alternative comparisons. The third chapter focuses on the indices and rankings, their methodology and the results of the Nordic countries. In the end, a new index is presented – Modern Prosperity Index, which puts emphasis on innovation and on the key factors of prosperity. |
