| Abstract: | Práce se zabývá námořní přepravou mezi EU a USA a jejím významem pro vzájemný obchod. Hlavním cílem práce je zanalyzovat a zhodnotit význam námořní přepravy pro obchod mezi EU a USA. Vedlejším cílem práce je zhodnotit současnou situaci a trendy v námořní dopravě. Hlavní zkoumané aspekty jsou hodnota přepravovaného zboží, objem přepravovaného zboží, nejvýznamnější kategorie přepravovaného zboží, nejvýznamnější přístavy apod. |

The main objective of the thesis is to analyze and evaluate the importance of maritime transport for EU-US trade. The secondary objective of the thesis is to evaluate the current situation and trends in maritime transport. The main aspects examined are the value of the goods transported, the volume of goods transported, the most important categories of goods transported, the most important ports, etc. |
